This piece was created to combine my love of abstract painting with collage and other mediums. My goal was to create an ambiance with an abstract composition, and place my subjects within that setting- allowing each piece to inform the other. The contrast of organic and structured come together to create a surreal scene, that still points to interaction with the natural world. The subject is swallowed up in what can be assumed is mother earth, and reminds us of how small we really are.
